Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration Opens April 18

Clear Creek ISD announces Pre-Kindergarten (Pre-K) and Kindergarten online enrollment for the 2022-2023 school year launches on Monday, April 18, 2022. CCISD elementary campuses will be open by appointment from May 2-6, 2022, from 8:30-11:30 a.m., to assist parents with enrollment and receive supporting documentation.

Clear Creek ISD offers free, full-day early learning programs for those who qualify, as well as a tuition-based Pre-K program for residents who live within the District boundaries.

Pre-Kindergarten in CCISD
For children turning 4-years-old on or before September 1, 2022, and who reside in the District, CCISD offers tuition-based Pre-K, on a space available basis, and free Pre-K for families who qualify.

Qualifications for free Pre-K range from limited English proficiency or economically disadvantaged, to child of a parent in the military, as well as several other factors. For a complete listing of qualifications for free Pre-K, parents and guardians may visit ccisd.net/prek.

Kindergarten in CCISD
To enroll in CCISD’s full-day Kindergarten program, students must reside within the District’s boundaries and turn 5-years-old on or before September 1, 2022.

Early Learning Education Options in CCISD
CCISD’s early learning programs include monolingual and bilingual classrooms and Early Childhood Special Education.

The District provides Pre-K programming at 20 elementary campuses. To identify the Pre-K campus that services their school zone, families may visit ccisd.net/prek and select “Pre-K Locations in CCISD.”

Additionally, the District will hold a Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration Fair in June to help families through the registration process.

Special Services
Through the Early Childhood Intake Center, Clear Creek ISD also provides evaluation services for children between the ages of two and five, who are not in a District Pre-K program and are not yet Kindergarten age, to determine if a child has a special education disability and if there is a need for special education services. The Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Program, serving children beginning on their third birthday, meets the needs of students identified as needing these services.
