Board Recognitions

Students from the Clear Creek Intermediate National Honor Society led the pledge.

Clear Creek ISD’s 26 Texas Music Educators Association All-State musicians across five high schools were recognized for their talent.

A total of 10 student artists from across Clear Creek ISD were recognized with top honors in the 2025 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo School Art Contest.

The Grand Champions, Reserve Champions and Best of Show Winners were recognized from the 2025 Clear Creek ISD Livestock Show and Auction. More than $200,000 was raised for students in the FFA program.

Luke Nguyen from Brookside Intermediate was celebrated for being crowned as the 2025 CCISD Spelling Bee Champion. This is Luke’s fourth time winning the District competition. John Li, a fourth grader from Brookwood Elementary, was the runner up.

In honor of the Clear Creek High School’s Trooper School program celebrating its 50^th anniversary, there was a special spotlight on the growth and success of Clear Creek ISD’s Child Guidance Programs. Watch

Items of Interest

Superintendent Engle gave a district update on School Board Elections, H-E-B Excellence in Education Board Finalist, Pam Crawford Dedication and student activities.

The Board approved an amendment to Superintendent Dr. Karen Engle’s contract for a one-year extension.

The Consent Agenda was approved.

The Board unanimously approved a change to the limited open enrollment policy FDA Local. This change gives the Superintendent authority to expand open enrollment opportunities based on available space and staffing capacity.

The Board approved the use of capital projects funds for facility related projects due to the recent freeze in January at various campuses.
