Board Recognitions

The Clear Creek Intermediate National Junior Honor Society led the pledge.

There were 29 total band, choir and orchestra students from across CCISD's five comprehensive high schools that were celebrated for being selected as 2026 Texas Music Educators Association All‑State Musicians.

The Grand Champions, Reserve Champions and Best of Show award winners from the 2026 CCISD Livestock Show and Auction were honored for their achievement. This year’s event raised an impressive $213,000 in support of CCISD high school students participating in the FFA program.

Clear Creek ISD recognized 11 student artists selected as District Winners in the 2026 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo School Art Program.

Coach Ty Halford from Clear Creek High School was celebrated for being named the 2024-2025 National Boys Water Polo Coach of the Year by the National Federation of State High School Associations.

Items of Interest

A public hearing was held for the Annual Texas Education Agency District Reporting. 

Superintendent Dr. Engle provided a district update on the upcoming Board Election, school achievements and the recent Realtor Certification Course.

The Consent Agenda was approved.

A resolution declining to adopt a policy under SB 11 regarding a period of prayer was approved.  

There was discussion of the districtwide intruder detection audit report findings from TEA.
