Clear Creek ISD Wins 2024 TAEA District of Distinction Award
Clear Creek ISD has been named as a 2024 District of Distinction for the third year in a row by the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA). Only the top 5.5 percent of districts in the state earned the honor this year.
The District received the award for providing a well-rounded education that advocates and integrates visual arts curriculum to inspire creativity and build social emotional learning that connect learners to their community and beyond.
“Our visual arts teachers set a high standard for their programs and continuously meet and exceed expectations when it comes to student success within their classrooms,” said Greg Goodman, director of visual and performing arts. “This award is a testament to their skills, dedication and creativity within the educational experience and their commitment to provide a world-class education to all those who cross their path.”
TAEA is the leading advocate for the visual arts in the state, honoring outstanding members for work in their classrooms and districts. Ninety-four districts, including CCISD, will be honored at the TAEA Administration & Supervision Division meeting and General Session during the TAEA Fall Conference General Assembly on November 15, 2024.
