Clear Creek ISD Showcases Student Success at the 2026 Livestock Show and Auction

The 44th Annual Clear Creek ISD Livestock Show and Auction took place January 19-22, 2026, raising $213,217 in support of Clear Creek ISD high school students participating in the FFA program.

The event, hosted at the CCISD West Agriculture Barn, featured 225 student exhibitors competing across multiple categories, including livestock exhibition, agricultural mechanics, floral design, visual arts and food science. In addition, 290 registered buyers participated through various purchasing opportunities to support student projects.

“I believe that a successful auction isn’t just about selling projects, it’s about investing in our student’s futures, worth ethic, and their leadership potential,” said Elisa Infante who is in her first year hosting the event as the CCISD Technical Education Program Manager. “I am proud of the work of the work my team has done in making it a successful year while also increasing our auction night sales total from last year.”

The highest bid of the night went to Mikenna Johnson-Fanos, a Clear Creek High School senior, for her Grand Champion Steer sold to Traffic Systems Construction, selling for $10,000. This year’s sale of the Best of Show Visual Arts Project by Victoria Herring from Clear Lake High School also broke the champion sales record, bringing in $4,000. Money raised goes directly back to students and the FFA program as a whole to fund future endeavors.

“I would like to thank our sponsors, Strategic Roofing Solutions and American Welding & Gas, for their generous contributions towards our event and their commitment to these students,” said Infante. “I would also like to thank our many buckle sponsors for the support they give in contributing towards such a special award.”
