Clear Creek ISD Selected as High Performing District in Texas

Clear Creek ISD Selected as High Performing District in Texas

Clear Creek ISD has been named as one of only 84 school districts in Texas to earn the recognition as a 2025 Educational Results Partnership (ERP) Honor Roll District. Additionally, seven CCISD campuses were recognized as Honor Roll Schools: Clear Lake City Elementary, Landolt Elementary, Ross Elementary, Weber Elementary, Brookside Intermediate, League City Intermediate and Clear Horizons Early College High School.

This marks the 11th year ERP has released  the Honor Roll list, which recognizes top-performing public schools, school districts and charter schools that have outperformed their peers in closing achievement gaps, particularly among higher-poverty and historically disadvantaged student populations.

“Clear Creek ISD is proud to have our district and schools named within the top 15 percent in Texas,” said CCISD Superintendent Dr. Karen Engle. “This recognition speaks to the consistent work happening across our schools, as well as the collective efforts of our teachers, staff, students and families to support academic growth for all learners.”

This year 1,076 schools and 84 school districts in Texas made the Honor Roll. Honor Roll schools are selected based on consistently high levels of student achievement across all student populations and academic growth over time.

“Across Texas, there are schools and systems delivering strong results for students of all backgrounds,” said Alex Barrios, President & CEO of Educational Results Partnership. “The Honor Roll recognizes these schools because they are doing something essential—preparing students with durable, foundational skills that remain valuable in any economy, particularly as artificial intelligence continues to transform the nature of work.”

The 2025 Texas Honor Roll is supported by the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence and co-presented in partnership with the Texas Business Leadership Council. It is the only award developed in collaboration with state and local business leaders and serves as a trusted resource for identifying best practices that drive student success.
