CCISD Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration Fair for the 2024-2025 School Year

Clear Creek ISD will hold a Pre-K and Kindergarten Registration Fair June 17-18, 2024, to help walk families through the registration process in preparation for the 2024-2025 school year. CCISD bilingual enrollment and data specialists will be on-hand to support incoming families to the District.

What:             Clear Creek ISD Full-Day Pre-K & Kindergarten Registration Fair

When:             Monday, June 17-Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Where:           McWhirter Elementary School, 300 Pennsylvania, Webster, TX 77598

Who:               Open to parents and guardians of children turning 4-years old on or before September 1, 2024, and who reside in the District for Pre-K enrollment, and parents and guardians of children turning 5-years old on or before September 1, 2024, and who reside in the District for Kindergarten enrollment.

Clear Creek ISD offers free, full-day early learning programs for those who qualify, as well as a tuition-based Pre-K program for residents who live within the District boundaries.

To finalize registration and qualifications for Pre-K or Kindergarten program, parents and guardians will need to bring the following required documentation to the registration fair:

1.      Birth certificate
2.      Immunization record
3.      Two proofs of residency in the Clear Creek Independent School District (mortgage or lease and a gas, water or electric bill)
4.      Social Security Card (Social Security Card is recommended but not required. A student who does not provide or have a social security card will be assigned a state identification number.)
5.      Parent/Guardian I.D. (driver’s license, passport, military I.D.)

Additionally, if parents believe their child meets one of the six qualifications for free Pre-K listed below, the corresponding documentation of qualification will also need to be provided at the time of registration.

1.      Limited English Proficiency. Students qualifying as limited English proficient will be tested on the day of registration to determine placement in the program.
2.      Economically Disadvantaged. Students qualifying as economically disadvantaged must meet the federal income eligibility guidelines.
3.      Homeless
4.      The child of a parent in the military or injured or killed while actively serving in the military. Appropriate Department of Defense identification or documentation must be provided.
5.      In or have been in the conservatorship of the state of Texas. Appropriate documentation for the Department of Family and Protective Services must be provided.
6.      The child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award, as a peace officer, firefighter or emergency medical first responder.

Tuition-Based Pre-K Slots Still Available in Clear Creek ISD

Clear Creek ISD has space available for the Tuition-Based Pre-K program at the following campuses that span the four corners of the District:

  • Greene Elementary
  • Hall Elementary
  • Stewart Elementary
  • Ward Elementary
