Candidate Applications for May 6 CCISD Board of Trustees Election Due on February 17

The Clear Creek Independent School District’s Board of Trustees will hold a General Election for the following trustee positions on May 6, 2023.

District 2* currently held by Michelle Davis

District 3* currently held by Arturo Sanchez

For the May 2023 Board of Trustees election, CCISD will contract election services with Galveston County for the District 2 election and Harris County for the District 2 and District 3 election.

To apply for a position on the ballot, interested individuals may download the Candidate Application and Information Packet at ccisd.net/elections, pick up a packet in person at the physical address listed below or request a packet by e-mail to elections@ccisd.net.

The first day to file for a place on the ballot is Wednesday, January 18, 2023, and applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2023.

The CCISD Board of Trustees is locally-elected group of citizens who govern and serve the school district in the best interest of students and as stewards of public tax dollars. Trustee duties include but are not limited to adopting policies that inform district actions, approving an annual budget, and communicating the district’s vision and successes to the community.
