CCISD Athletic Hall of Honor Welcomes Class of 2025

The Clear Creek ISD Athletic Hall of Honor welcomed the ninth class of distinguished alumni athletes into the Hall on September 20, 2025. The Class of 2025 featured two coach honorees, four student athletes and five standout teams who all achieved greatness and had a lasting impact on the District’s storied athletic history. The annual event–part celebration, part reunion–brings together generations of CCISD alumni, district leaders, friends, family and fans to pay tribute to the newest class of honorees.

Eligibility for this year’s honor extended to graduates of Webster, Clear Creek, Clear Lake, Clear Brook and Clear Springs high schools between the years of 1948 and 2012.

Clear Lake High School Soccer Coach and Hall of Honor Inductee Doug Elder directly addressed his players in his acceptance speech, with sentiments similarly shared by other honorees. “For all the players out there that have reached out to tell me thank you for the impact I made on their lives, make no mistake about it. You have made a greater impact on me,” Elder said. “Looking back on my 12 years at Clear Lake High School, the realization came to me that it was some of the best times of my life. These great people, this great school district, and more importantly, the great players that found their passion, all touched my life and for that I will be forever grateful,” he added.
