Board Recognitions

The Clear Lake Intermediate boys basketball team led the pledge. They were the 2025 District Champions.

Clear Creek ISD made Educational Results Partnership’s 2024 Honor Roll list of top performing school districts in Texas. Clear Horizons Early College High School, Westbrook Intermediate, Clear Lake City Elementary, Landolt Elementary and Weber Elementary were also honored for making the school list.

Luke Nguyen from Brookside Intermediate won the CCISD and Houston Regional Spelling Bees. Luke is now going on to represent CCISD and Texas at the National Spelling Bee contest in Washington D.C. in May.

Four saxophone players from the Clear Brook High School Band were honored for being the first from CCISD to qualify for the State Finals in the UIL State Instrumental Chamber Music Competition.

Items of Interest

Superintendent Engle gave a district update on CCISD Board Elections and CCISD Partners of the Year.

Annual Tax Collection Report presented by Tax Attorneys from Perdue Brandon Fielder Collins & Mott LLP.

Samantha Suhler was named as the new principal of Ed White E-STEM Magnet School. 

The Consent Agenda was approved.

The request for 2025-2026 Staffing for Special Education, Elementary, Visual & Performing Arts, Advanced Academics, and Career & Technology Education programs was approved.

The Board approved the use of Capital Projects Funds of $800,000 for Facility Related Projects.

All Board Members have met and/or exceeded the required number of hours for continuing education.
