39 Clear Creek ISD Students Advance to State Visual Arts Scholastic Competition

The Clear Creek ISD Visual and Performing Arts Department is proud to announce that 39 students will advance to the Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) state competition on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Only 10% of the entries that receive a top Rating IV (Exemplary) score at the regional competition qualify for state. CCISD captured 33% of the total Region 4E State advancing artwork. More than 33,000 total artworks competed in over 20 regional events across Texas this year.

For 30 years, the Texas Art Education Association has sponsored this event, which celebrates the artistic talent and dedication of Texas art students, teachers and administrators. State-qualifying artworks are assessed by jurors from across the United States. Student artists who receive an Exemplary rating at state will be awarded a state medallion and named an All-State Artist by the Texas Art Education Association and VASE. Their artwork will also be considered for the highest honor from VASE, the Gold Seal Award.
