Clear Creek ISD Earns Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting

The Association of School Business Officials International (ASBO) has awarded the Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD) with the Certificate of Excellence (COE) in Financial Reporting Award for the Fiscal Year 2022.

This award recognizes districts that have met the program’s high standards for financial reporting and commitment to transparency based on the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). CCISD’s report was submitted for review by a team of financial professionals who provide feedback to improve future documents. If the report meets the requirements of the program, it may then receive the Certificate of Excellence.

For almost 50 years, the COE has honored school districts committed to transparent stewardship of public funds. A district’s participation in the COE program can also facilitate bond rating and continuing bond disclosure processes.
