Intermediate Summer School
Clear Creek ISD Intermediate Summer School is for students entering grades 6–8. Classes are held at Bayside Intermediate. A student may receive full credit for a year’s course in one class in one session.
During pre-registration, students must contact their home campus counselor to register for courses.
Summer Semester I
June 9 – June 19, 2025, Monday – Thursday
- Morning Class: 7:45 am to 11:00 am
- Afternoon Class: 11:30 am to 2:45 pm
- Lunch: 11:00 – 11:30 (For students attending AM and PM Sessions)
Credit Recovery Courses:
- Language Arts/Reading - Grades 6, 7, 8
- Mathematics - Grades 6, 7, 8
Students will have the opportunity to get targeted support in essential skills that will help them build a stronger foundation in ELA and/or Math. The extra support with these essential skills will help students be successful with their 2025-26 courses. By attending summer school, students will receive 26 hours of the HB1416 required accelerated instruction in each content area if they were not successful on the Math and/or Reading STAAR.

Summer Semester II
Summer Semester II is only for students who are required/recommended to take science and/or social studies to be promoted to the next grade level.
June 23 – July 3, 2025, Monday – Thursday
- Morning Class– 7:45 am to 11:00 am
- Afternoon Class - 11:30 am to 2:45 pm
Credit Recovery Courses
- Science - Grades 6, 7, 8
- Social Studies - Grades 6, 7, 8
These courses are available to students that need to complete necessary requirements in order to be promoted to the next grade level. Students will be notified if this work is needed. The only time a student is required to take summer school for science and/or social studies is if their overall combined average (mathematics, English language arts (ELA), science, and social studies) is below a 70 AND the student’s final grade for mathematics and English are both above 70 with their science and/or social students grades below a 70.

High School Summer School
Clear Creek ISD High School Summer School is for students entering grades 9-12. All CCISD Summer School participants will report to Clear Falls High School for in person courses.
- Course material are presented through two platform options computer-based instruction or teacher-led instruction.
- Available courses and their presentation platform will be available through the High School Summer School Registration Card.
- Summer School participants are held to strict behavioral and attendance standards.
- Students are withdrawn after their 2nd absence and all fees will remain.

Who should take advantage of this opportunity?
- Students who were absent for a STAAR EOC assessment
- Students who have not met Approaches Grade Level on a STAAR EOC assessment
- Students whose STAAR EOC assessment was invalidated (received a score code of ‘other’)
June STAAR End-of-Course Assessment Schedule
All June STAAR End-of-Course assessments will be administered online. Students must bring their CCISD-issued laptop. Laptops will be available for students who do not have a CCISD-issued laptop.

Do you have a testing conflict? Contact the Department of Assessment and Evaluation at 281-284-0108. Conflicts will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Test Sessions
Test sessions will begin at 9:30 AM:
- Students must bring a photo ID to enter the testing area
- The only electronic device that will be allowed in the testing area will be the student’s CCISD-issued laptop.
- Doors open at 9:00 AM

June STAAR EOC Assessment Transportation
There will be a shuttle bus from Clear Falls High School to Space Center
Pre-Registration
Pre-registration for the June STAAR End-of-Course Assessment is encouraged to avoid waiting in lines the day of the assessment. Pre-registration will be available through June 12, 2025.
After June 12th, students will register in-person at Space Center Intermediate the morning of the assessment. Arrive at the testing location at 9:00 AM to register.
