Launching in 2024-2025: Limited Open Enrollment Program for Non-Resident Grandchildren of In-District Grandparents

A Limited Open Enrollment Program option will soon be available to non-resident grandchildren, entering grades K-12, of grandparents who live within Clear Creek ISD’s attendance boundaries. 

Visit ccisd.net/discoverccisd to learn more and apply for consideration. The application is open from November 13, 2023 – February 1, 2024. If approved, applicants will be notified of acceptance and provided with instructions for enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year. 

CCISD Senior Gold Card

The Clear Creek ISD Senior Gold Card is available to residents of Clear Creek ISD who are age 60 and older and all retired Clear Creek ISD employees. The Gold Card offers our senior friends free admission to all CCISD home athletic events and most fine arts student performances including plays, concerts and choir performances. It is CCISD's way of saying "thank you" for the many years of contributions to our schools and students.

Whether it's enjoying the marching band halftime performance under the Friday Night Lights, watching a musical theater production, or cheering on your favorite athlete and team, the Clear Creek ISD Senior Gold Card provides a wealth of opportunities to save money while supporting our students. 

Eligibility

The Senior Gold Card is free for persons 60 years of age or older who reside in Clear Creek ISD or retirees of Clear Creek ISD.

  • Individuals must present proof of address within Clear Creek ISD boundaries
  • CCISD retirees who are eligible for TRS benefits
  • District venues may ask for photo identification when Senior Gold Card is presented

Terms and Conditions

The Senior Gold Card is only valid at Clear Creek ISD hosted events and cannot be used to gain free entrance at events hosted by other school districts or entities. 

  • Must show Senior Gold Card at ticket booth to receive a ticket – no online sales
  • For varsity football games: Present your Gold Card at the gate entrance to receive a General Admission
  • Senior Gold Cards are not valid for playoff games
  • Senior Gold Cards are non-transferable
  • Seats may not be reserved or held
  • Senior Gold Care applications are not available at event locations
  • Tickets are first come first served. Tickets can not be issued on site for sold out or overcapacity events
  • Senior Gold Card members will receive email communication on Clear Creek ISD news and information. Recipients may unsubscribe at any time.

Please fill out the online form to apply for a CCISD Senior Gold Card. Uploading proof of residency in Clear Creek ISD is required. Once verified, you will receive your Gold Card in the mail. Please allow up to two weeks for processing and to receive your card.

Sign Up In Person

Apply for and receive your Senior Gold Card in person by applying at the Clear Creek ISD Education Support Center, 2425 E. Main Street, League City.

Present photo ID and proof of residency within Clear Creek ISD school boundaries along with the paper application. Save time by printing the paper application and completing before you arrive.

Be Our Guest at the Annual Clear Creek ISD Senior to Senior Prom

Each year, CCISD soon-to-be-graduates, representing all seven CCISD high schools, host a special prom to thank the "other senior segment" of the community as a thank you for all their support of their education journey.

The evening includes dinner, made possible by generous community sponsors, student entertainment and dancing for all in attendance. 

Gold Card members receive formal invitations in the mail to attend the Senior to Senior Prom. 
Limited space availability. First RSVP, first served.

Stay Informed Through the CCISD Communicator Gold Edition & Other CCISD News Channels

The Communicator Gold Edition is a publication specifically for and about the mature citizens of Clear Creek ISD. Printed copies are mailed to the homes of citizens 65 years and older with homestead exemptions in CCISD's taxing district and a digital edition is also e-mailed to Gold Card members once a year.

Get Connected by Volunteering in our Schools

If you are interested in volunteering at your neighboring schools, please visit the Volunteer page for information and the online application to become a volunteer.

Our schools benefit greatly from the help of science fair judges, mentors and experts in their field as guest speakers.
