PTAs
The purpose of PTAs are to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
Parents and guardians can join any PTA to help support CCISD students and schools by ensuring every child has a voice. Members meet to establish goals, engage the public, promote collaboration and advocate for laws and public education funding.
Specialty Organizations
Clear Creek Community Council of PTAs
The Clear Creek Community Council of PTAs (CCCC of PTAs) serves 45 local PTA/PTSA units in the Clear Creek and Dickinson Independent School Districts. Acting as a primary channel of communication within the PTA network, a Council PTA provides information, inspiration, support, guidance and instruction to its member PTAs. It serves to strengthen Local PTAs, develop leadership potential, promote PTA membership and advance Texas PTA's goals.
CCISD Special Education PTA
The Special Education PTA (SEPTA) serves families and educators of children receiving special education services in the Clear Creek Independent School District and surrounding areas.
Joining PTA is a great way to get to know your school’s administrators and teachers. Membership provides an opportunity to meet other parents and teachers, and it also provides a forum to discuss issues that are on your mind. A strong PTA membership creates the village that helps raise our kids and strengthen our community. Taking an active role in your children’s school is critical to their success.
