Out-of-District Application

Any student who lives outside of CCISD boundaries may apply! CCISD reviews applicant’s academics, attendance, behavior, staffing, and space available at the requested campus(s). 

It’s easy! Just visit the CCISD's Open Enrollment page (ccisd.net/outofdistrict) to submit your application during the open enrollment window.

Deadlines are posted online each year. 

You may apply for up to 2 campuses at one time. 

Yes. There’s a $100 fee each year for students who live outside Clear Creek ISD and accept a spot in the district. The fee is waived for students if a parent, grandparent, or guardian is an employee of the district. 

If your child is enrolled as a student in CCISD, we will honor that history. However, all transfer students must meet annual eligibility criteria, including academics, attendance, and behavior. Reapplication is required each year by the posted deadline. 

Yes, each Out-of-District student will be required to hold their seat by reapplying each year and if your child has previously been a student in good standing in CCISD, we will honor that history. However, all transfer students must pay the $100 acceptance fee and meet annual eligibility criteria, including academics, attendance, and behavior. Reapplication is required each year by the posted deadline. 

CCISD reviews academics, attendance, conduct, staffing, and space available at the requested campus. 

Transportation is not provided. Families are responsible for getting their child to and from school. 

We want every student to be successful! However, transfers may be revoked if expectations for attendance, academics, or behavior are not met. 

No, all applications are reviewed at the time they are received and are evaluated using criteria of academics, attendance, behavior, staffing, and space available at the requested campus(s). 

We do our best to keep families together, but it depends on space at the requested campus and the review of academics, attendance, and behavior. 

UIL eligibility is possible, but students must follow UIL rules. Some transfers may require a waiting period or eligibility review.
