Clear Lake High School Earns National PTA School of Excellence Designation

Clear Lake High School has been named a 2025–2027 National PTA School of Excellence, one of only 321 PTAs and schools nationwide to receive the two-year designation this cycle. The recognition honors the school's commitment to strengthening family engagement and creating a welcoming school community. 

"This honor is especially meaningful because only four schools in Clear Creek ISD have ever earned the National PTA School of Excellence designation—and Clear Lake High School is the only high school among them," said Liz Raska, Principal of Clear Lake High School. 

The National PTA School of Excellence program helps PTAs and schools strengthen partnerships with families by opening lines of communication, gathering feedback, and using data to make informed decisions about family engagement. Throughout the program, participating PTAs work alongside their school communities to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies that address the needs of students and families. 

For Clear Lake High School PTSA President Bekky Kinsey, earning the designation is a point of pride for the entire Falcon community. 

“This recognition was truly a labor of love, dedication and determination,” Kinsey said. “This award reflects what can happen when parents, students, teachers, staff and community partners come together. This award belongs to our entire Falcon family!” 

That collective commitment to family engagement earned Clear Lake High School a place among a select group nationwide recognized for making family-school partnerships a priority.
