CCISD High Schools Sweep A Ratings as District Improves Accountability Score

The Clear Creek Independent School District (CCISD) has earned an overall accountability score of 89, a high B rating, from the Texas Education Agency. Last year, the District’s overall score was 88.

Among the District’s most notable accomplishments is that all seven CCISD high schools earned an A rating, including Clear View High School, the District’s dropout prevention campus. Clear View earned an impressive (96) A, demonstrating students can achieve exceptional outcomes when provided strong support.

“These results reflect the hard work of our students, teachers, staff, and families who remain committed to excellence every day,” said Superintendent Karen Engle. “Our goal this year is for a 90 or higher and we are certainly well within that reach.”

Ratings are one measure of success and complement the District’s broader focus on a world-class education through rigorous academics, career and technical education, early college opportunities, fine arts, athletics, and innovative programs.

“While we celebrate these accomplishments, we remain focused on continuous improvement,” Engle said. “These results demonstrate we are making progress toward that goal.”
