Board Items of Interest 

Board Recognitions
The Wedgewood Elementary Character Crewe led the pledge.

The CCISD Students for Safety was recognized as the Hero in the Hallway for receiving an award from the Texas School Safety Center. These high school students helped shape CCISD’s reopening plans this school year and continue to support COVID-19 efforts.

Luke Nquyen, a fourth grader at Parr Elementary, was recognized for being crowned the 2021 CCISD Spelling Bee Champion. Max Wang from Brookwood Elementary was the runner-up.

CCISD swimmers and divers were applauded for their impressive results at the UIL State Meet. 

Lauren Clements, a 7th grade student at League City Intermediate and Ann Dee Mitchell, 4th grade student at Ferguson Elementary, were recognized for their artwork being chosen to showcase at the State Capitol for Youth Art Month.

Several student artists and writers across Clear Creek ISD were named Gold Key Award recipients in the 2021 Regional Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.

The Clear Creek Independent School District is home to 11 students who were recognized as 2021 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo School Art winners.

Items of Interest
Superintendent Dr. Eric Williams provided an update on the status of the Safely Reopen CCISD Committee meetings and his district visits over the last month.  

The recommendation to approve the contract renewals for employees assigned to administrative positions was passed.
The Consent Agenda was approved.

The design development stage for the Ross Elementary School major renovation was approved.

A resolution for February 2021 Winter Storm Emergency Purchasing was passed.

The conceptual design of the Clear Connections Virtual School and Magnet Program was approved. Learn more
