Certified Nursing Assistant
The demand for health care workers is on the rise with an increasing number of career opportunities becoming available outside of the traditional hospital setting.
Students interested in the health care field can choose classes that provide them with the knowledge and skills to receive certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Texas.
Students begin by taking Health Science Technology I to gain knowledge in ethical and legal responsibilities, client care, safety, first aid and CPR as well as develop effective communication skills. In the Health Science - Certified Nursing Assistant course, students acquire advanced clinical skills that prepare them for the Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) exam.

CCISD’s Certified Nursing Assistant program is located at Clear View High School, but is open to all qualified students in the district.
