  • Dentistry Program in CCISD

    Open Wide for the Future

    Students are preparing for the future in the CCISD Dentistry Program. The dental lab is at Clear Creek High School but the program is open to all Clear Creek ISD high school students. At the end of the course, students can take a state board test and be certified as a Dental Assistant.

  • Hyde Students Talk to the International Space Station

    Skype with an Astronaut

    Students at Hyde Elementary School in League City get a chance to ask questions to NASA Astronaut Mark Vande Hei. Vande Hei is aboard the International Space Station and talked with a Hyde student assembly via Skype. Vande Hei is a part of the Expedition 53/54 crew that launched to the International Space Station in September 2017.

  • CCISD Impact - Whitcomb Elementary School

    Collecting Coins for Hurricane Relief

    Students at Whitcomb Elementary School partner with Jetstream Jax and the Great Kindness Challenge to collect money to help repair playgrounds damaged by Hurricane Harvey. Each grade level determined what they wanted to do to collect Kindness Coins for Hurricane Relief. Most of the grade levels sold coupons each day to participate in an activity such as bringing a stuffed animal to school or wearing your pajamas to class. One grade level organized a Snack Shack and sold healthy snacks before and after school.

  • SPARK Park at Wedgewood Elementary School

    New School and Community Park

    Wedgewood Elementary School in the Clear Creek Independent School District recently held a special dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony to unveil its brand new community SPARK Park. The SPARK School Program works with schools and neighborhoods to develop community parks on public school grounds. In the past 30 years, SPARK has built over 200+ community parks throughout the Houston/Harris County area.
