With deep roots to the NASA Johnson Space Center, Clear Creek ISD proudly stands with our NASA community as the Artemis II mission ushers in a new era of human exploration. Our longstanding partnership connects learning to real-world discoveries and pathways for the future workforce and tomorrow’s leaders who will voyage to Mars. This page seeks to celebrate Artemis II and highlight the many ways our schools and community are commemorating this historic mission and return to the Moon.

Supporting Captain Glover
Victor Glover has been assigned to be pilot of NASA’s Artemis II mission around the Moon. Glover was selected as an astronaut in 2013 while serving as a Legislative Fellow in the United States Senate. He most recently served as pilot of the Crew-1 Dragon spacecraft which flew to the International Space Station, where he also was flight engineer for Expedition 64/65.
Captain Glover is also a proud Clear Springs High School parent. Go Chargers!
