Students may check out general books for two weeks.
Reference books and books placed on reserve by the teacher can be checked out overnight. K-1 students may check out one book at a time.
Students in second through fifth grade may check out two books at a time. Students are encouraged to use the library to check out new material between class meetings. Students must return all library books weekly.
Students with overdue books are not permitted to check out another book.
There is no fine for an overdue book.
Students may use the Internet for class projects if the CCISD Acceptable Use Policy has been returned with a parent signature.
Students may not access their personal email in the library.
There is no charge for a student to print from a workstation to a printer in the library.
Resources
Students have access to books, periodicals, online databases and multimedia resources.
Eight student workstations are available for online catalog searches, Accelerated Reader testing, and Internet access.
