2009 Super Sci-Tech Saturday Conference |
| |
Expanding Your Horizons Presents: Super Sci-Tech Saturday This one-day conference is held every two years for girls in grades 6-8. The conference encourages girls to study math and science in high school and college by offering them hands-on experiences in mini-workshops that focus on math, science and technology related careers.
Supporting the students of the following participating districts: Clear Creek ISD, Friendswood ISD, Galveston ISD and La Porte ISD and Dickinson ISD |

The planning committee has created a fun-filled day for girls, including hands-on workshops from how
that range from how to build a rocket to how to save a life; inspirational messages from women who excelled in career fields from Astronomy to Zoology; and informational sessions for parents to help cultivate their daughter’s personal and professional aspirations. |
