How do I track my progress?

Break down your total points into daily activities. Review the suggested activities list and pick the activity you would like to perform. A combination of two or three activities can be done to reach the your total daily minutes. You are limited to 10 points per day (a total of 250 miles). All activities are worth a point value of 2 points. Total points traveled will be calculated and logged at the end of the summer. Students who have logged the most miles will be eligible for merit and awards. For information on award levels please review the AWARDS section of our website.

Show Us What You've Got

Hi, I'm Luigi G. Rivera. I'm from Gilmore Elementary.
Here is my snack recipe:

Perfect Pita Pizzas (Makes 4 servings)

2 whole wheat or white pita bread rounds
1/2 cup spaghetti or pizza sauce
3/4 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
1 small zucchini, sliced 1/4 inch thick
1/2 small carrot, peeled and sliced
2 cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 small green bell pepper, sliced

Preheat oven to 375F. Line baking sheet with
foil; set aside. Using small scissors, carefully split each pita
bread round around edge; separate to form 2
rounds. Place rounds, rough sides up, on prepared
baking sheet. Bake 5 minutes. Spread 2 tablespoons spaghetti sauce onto each round; sprinkle with cheese. Decorate with vegetables to create faces. Bake 10 to
12 minutes or until cheese melts.I hope you like it.
