SPED Parent Communication Council
 

The purpose of the Special Education Parent Communication Council is to enhance communication between parents and the district while fostering greater confidence in public education. Issues and concerns that come before the Council should be of district-wide interest.

Below are your Clear Creek ISD Special Education Parent Communication Council representatives per campus. Please feel free to share with them questions or concerns you may be having about a district special education concern. Student specific concerns need to be discussed with your campus principal.


 
  • All questions must be submitted to the campus representative prior to the scheduled meeting.
  • The campus representative will submit questions in writing preferably at least 24 hours prior to the quarterly meeting or prior to the scheduled meeting to the Director of Special Education. Email to sped@ccisd.net or fax to 281-284-9909.
  • Questions regarding items not on the agenda submitted after the meeting has been started will be discussed at the following council meeting.
  • Only the campus representative may speak on behalf of the campus.
  • Any parent of a CCISD student may attend.
  • At each meeting the special education department will present an update of what is happening in the district.
  • Other CCISD personnel may be invited to attend and update the council.
  • Programmatic and special education issues will be discussed.
  • Individual student concerns will not be discussed due to confidentiality.

 
Meetings will be held at the ESC Board Room from 5:30 to 6:30. Meetings for the 2007-08 school year are:
September 18, 2007
October 30, 2007
December 11, 2007
February 5, 2008
April 15, 2008
