Self-Respect II team
members will be teaching at your
child’s school. This program
represents a district iniative
to better meet the needs of our
students by addressing many of
the issues students face and by
helping them learn ways to abstain
from risk behaviors. This program
is designed to supplement, not
replace, the parent’s role
in dealing with these issues.
The program consists of 5 days
of instruction taught in physical
education classes. The topics
covered each day correlate with
the District’s/State’s
health curriculum and are located
on the parental form on back and
the district website. We feel
parental involvement will greatly
enhance your child’s ability
to resist the pressures they continually
