The Galveston Brazoria Cooperative for the Hearing Impaired (GBCHI) is a regional day school program for students ages 0-22 who have an auditory impairment. Implemented under directives from the Texas Education Agency, this program functions as an educational cooperative serving 10 surrounding area school districts. These include Alvin, Clear Creek, Dickinson, Friendswood, Galveston, Hitchcock, LaMarque, Pearland, Santa Fe and Texas City.
Referrals are received through the home district. If you have any questions about referrals, please contact your district's local special education director. |
