PH Greene Explores Off Shore Energy |

PH Greene Elementary 5th graders participated in the MOLU Pilot Program. The Mobil Offshore Learning Unit (MOLU) consisted of 6 self-contained components with curriculum-based, hands-on learning activities about offshore energy topics.

Seabrook Intermediate Rockets Towards Nationals |
|
The Seabrook Intermediate Rocket team is out of this world! The eighth grade students built a rocket that reached 759 feet in 41 seconds. The SIS Rocket team spent the school year designing, building and flying their rocket for this contest. More than 650 teams entered this year's challenge, but only 100 teams with the best scores were invited to nationals in Washington D.C. |

Growing Talent at Clear Lake City Elementary |

The first grade students at Clear Lake City Elementary School presented their musical program, "How Does Your Garden Grow?" on April 3rd. The audience was entertained by singing and dancing gardeners, scarecrows, flowers, and weeds! |

Take One! |

Clear Creek ISD teachers were joined by Dr. Smith, school board members and community leaders to celebrate the first step toward their National Board Certification. At the "Take One!" reception the National Board Certification candidates mailed in their portfolios and prepared for the next step of the process. Good Luck! |

Elections at Clear Lake High School |

Elections for class officers and community liaisons were held at Clear Lake High School. There was a large turnout as students cast their ballots in the democratic process. |

Letters About Literature |

Congratulations to Yana and Cole! Both entered the Letters About Literature Contest, sponsored by the Library of Congress, the Texas Association of School Librarians, and the Texas Center for the Book. They were Texas State Finalists and received a certificate and letter for their writing excellence. |

Math...Math...Revolution! |
|
Students at Westbrook Intermediate practiced both their dance and math skills during an exercise called Math, Math, Revolution. Students cheered each other on as they "danced" their multiplication tables. |
