Whitcomb Elementary staff is supporting one of their second grade students and her fight with Cystic Fibrosis. Many staff members will be walking in Deer Park on Saturday at the Cystic Fibrosis Walk. |

Clear Brook Mock Trial |
|
Communications and Medical Smaller Learning Communities students at Clear Brook High School participated in a mock court trial this week. The mock trial was the dramatic culmination of an interdisciplinary unit based on the popular television show, "CSI." |

Brook and Lake Score Big at Disney |
|
Clear Brook Choir and Clear Lake Orchestra competed in the annual Festival Disney Competition held in Orlando, Florida. Both Brook and Lake scored high marks in the competition. |

Haircuts for a Cause |
|
Wedgewood Elementary students raised approximately $4,000 for the American Heart Association. The students were challenged and raised enough money to buzz off their coaches' hair. The top four fundraisers for the school won the right to help with the hair cuts. |

CBHS Percussion Ensemble to Compete |
|
The Clear Brook High School Indoor Percussion Ensemble will go to the Winter Guard International Championships in Dayton, Ohio on April 17, 18 & 19th. They will compete against 40 other schools from across the nation for the Scholastic Open Percussion National Title. In 2005, Clear Brook won the national percussion title. Director Dusty Norris and his team are hoping for a repeat. |

BACODA and League City Intermediate students donated over 1200 pairs of shoes to represent the number of lives lost each day in the U.S. from tobacco products. All shoes will be donated to the Salvation Army. |
