Grade 8 (PreAP) Prerequisite: An average of 90 or greater in previous Language Arts course, 80% in advanced section, 6th Grade Reading TAKS Scale Score of 2290.
Grade 6 (PreAP/GT) Prerequisite: Identified highly capable, identified GT. Application for the highly capable is required.
