In addition to supporting great programs, CBHS PTSA produces and mails Brook Bylines newsletter. By joining CBHS PTSA you automatically become a member of TEXAS PTA and NATIONAL PTA.

PTSA INVOLVEMENT AT CLEAR BROOK HIGH SCHOOL:

• Arranges/coordinates parent education programs
• Assists with “Fish Camp” freshmen orientation
• Attendance Office paperwork assistance
• Campus Improvement projects
• Coordinates volunteers for Homecoming Carnival

• Environmental programs
• Office assistance on campus
• Oversees PTA Reflections contest

• Represents Clear Brook on CCISD committees
• Senior Awards Night hospitality volunteers

CBHS PTSA Scholarships Awarded
The Clear Brook PTSA awarded five $500 Scholarships to the following seniors: Erica Brody, Jamie Jackson, Megan Napoli, Man Yi Ng, Hershwin A. Sawlani, and Alexander Scheifler. Congratulations to these six deserving winners and thanks to all the applicants. The scholarships were funded through vocabulary book and cookie sales during lunches.

Next Year, the PTSA is hoping to offer sholarships again to deserving seniors. The applicant needs to be a member of the CBHS PTSA and must turn in the application to the Counseling Center. Applications will be in the Counseling Center or on the counseling website beginning September 2008. PTSA membership applications can be found in the front office or in the Counseling Center.
