We are pleased to announce that construction will begin at Clear Brook Monday, October 12, 2009. CCISD passed a bond referendum in 2007 that included $5 million for science lab additions in each of our comprehensive high schools to accommodate the increased requirements for Texas students to graduate with four years of science and mathematics.

The two new labs will be built on the south side of the building between rooms 164/162 and the faculty parking lot. The exit doors leading to the faculty parking lot will still be in use throughout construction. The student drop-off zone will still be in use throughout construction.

Changes:

• Bike racks will be re-located closer to Hope Village Road.
• The drive way will be fenced off for construction.
• The first row of faculty parking will become the driveway for driving through and for dropping off students.
• The handicap parking for faculty will not be changed.
• A limited number of faculty and staff members will be able to park on the north side of the building in the student lot.
• Visitor spots are still only for visitors and subject to towing if utilized by staff or students.
• Students will not be parking in the first row of student spaces closest to the building. That first row will now be reserved for staff.
• Staff and students should remember to use their parking decal at all times.
