• Clear Creek ISD was very proud on November 20, 2008 at the Culture Shapers awards night, as 5 of our Visual Arts Students were financially awarded for their outstanding art pieces entered. Our students brought home checks in the total amount of $8,750.00!
• CCHS Visual Arts Instructor Terri Foltz-Fox was with three of her students (4 pieces of art) ,CSHS Visual Arts Instructor Richard Williams was with one of his students, as well as Visual Arts Instructor Jeff Samp of CBHS was with one of his students and all were in the top 10. (Attached to this email is a copy of the winning art work, students names as well as financial award.) The CCHS student who won first place ($5000 dollars) for her metal etching mixed media piece, Elizabeth Rhodes, not only is in art and just entered her first competition, but she is in marching band and is tied for number one in her senior class.
