How about if you try to get a job at Reed Instrument Company, or Star Precision Fabricating?

Recently, students in Introduction to Engineering and Design, and Principles of Engineering went on a field trip.  They toured two

fabrication companies in Houston to see how technical drawings are used in the fabrication business.

Star Precision Fabrication

manufactures sheet metal parts, and assemblies.  In addition to bending and stamping sheet metal, they also do some machining of metal parts, and they have recently acquired the ability to assemble

circuit boards that go inside sheet metal housings-This circuit board inside a sheet metal housing is part of a guitar amplifier.  This is the same brand and model of amplifier used by Kid Rock.
