NHS members please remember to sign up to volunteer in room 252 for North Pointe's School Fair on February 13th from 10 a.m. until 3pm.


The Clear Creek Education Foundation is seeking high school juniors males and females, that represent all that is positive about CCISD to participate as models during the 4th Annual Galaxy of Stars Fashion Show on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 4:30pm at the Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake. The show is being produced by Lenny Matuszewski, Jr., a nationally known fashion show producer and will feature fashions from Dillard's. Applications are now available in the school of Business. Please return applications to Ms. Mossburger no later than Friday, February 26, 2010 by the end of the school day.


If you are missing coats, shoes, hats, backpacks or gloves come by the Lost and Found located in the Engineering/Medical/Fine Arts hall to see if any of this items belong to you.


There will be a mandatory meeting on Monday, February 8th at 2:45pm in the auditorium. Any sophomore and junior that is interested in the PAL program for the 2010-2011 school year should attend.


There will be a JETS meeting on Friday Feb. 12 at 3:15 in room 151. Anyone planning to attend the TEAMS competition should plan to attend.


There will be a Student Council meeting on Monday, February 8th in room 234. Please make plans to attend.


The Black History club will be meeting on February 4th or February 11th at 3:20 pm in room 106. Interested parties should plan to attend this meeting.


No student head coverings are allowed once the student enters the building.


Yearbooks are still on sale. Pick up an order form outside of room 219.


Students interested in UIL science should attend a meeting in room 151 on Monday, February 8 at 2:45 pm. This is open to all students in all grades.


All HOSA members need to attend a meeting on Monday, February 8th, in room 100. All competitors going to the Spring Conference must attend this meeting.


Benchmark testing begins next week on Tuesday, February 9th and will continue until Thursday, February 11th. All 9, 10, and 11th graders should report to their assigned testing rooms by 7:20. All seniors should report to the auditorium. All dual credit students should report to their normally scheduled dual credit classes. Dual credit students can make up their benchmark testing the following week. Please seem Ms. Beck in room 160 if you have any questions.


This week's Black History Month Question: What songwriter did Bob Dylan describe as "America's Greatest Living Poet?" If you think you know the answer, come to the library to fill out the official entry form. Good Luck!!


Science National Honor Society will meet after school today in room 164.


The NHS Valentine Party has been changed to Feb. 15. Please check sign up sheet for details.


Congratulations to CBHS Speech and Debate Team for qualifying two more state competitors. They are: Kimberly Maima and Raveena Bhalara. The team also brought home the 3rd place Sweepstakes trophy. They head to Kempner High School this weekend to continue their state qualification accumulation.


Congratulations to JV boys soccer for defeating Clear Lake on Saturday by a score of 2-1. Andrew Lee and Kevin Larios scored the goals and Kirby Bucker filled in admirable in the goal.


Congratulations to the boys and girls swim teams for each placing 2nd in the district this past Saturday. Congratulations to the Clear Brook Winter Guard for taking 1st place at the Texas Color Guard Circuit contest at Dawson High School on Saturday.


Congratulations to Sean Bouasenesouk and George Reed for taking top honors in the wrestling tournament this past Saturday.
