Dear Wedgewood Family,
We’ve been very busy this fall and are looking forward to cooler days. The children are progressing well and appear to enjoy school. I evaluate their enjoyment by watching student reactions when I enter a classroom. I observe genuine student engagement during lesson presentations, lots of smiles, sometimes giggles, and hands-on learning. Another evaluative time is during our school-wide assemblies and programs. We’ve had absolutely quality performances.

Mr. Dunklee, our wonderful technology integration specialist, keeps all of our activities updated and even makes photo stories of our daily happenings. By viewing these websites, you will be able to see first hand all the neat things we do here at Wedgewood Elementary.
The holidays are times we show thankfulness. I am eternally gratefully to the PTA for consistently providing resources, treats, smiles, and whatever else is needed to the students and staff of Wedgewood. I treasure their mindset of, “How May We Help You?”.
Speaking of help, I am searching for anyone that works for Exxon Mobil.
We want to start the Kids & Chemistry Program that Exxon provides, but we need a parent to serve as our contact. If you know of anyone that is even slightly interested, please call the school and let us know.
