WEDGEWOOD TIMBERWOLVES PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND WELLNESS

Where students meet on their feet

so their heart won’t miss a beat.

Coaches:          Cal Hitchman and Rusty Steffens

Assistants:       Jocelyn Greuter and Tammy Russ

We have planned a fun filled year for the students at Wedgewood.  We will be doing activities such as; Fitness testing, Walk for Diabetes, and introducing a new wellness program called CATCH. We will also complete popular “camouflage” activities which allow students to enjoy themselves and get the physical benefits of exercising.  We also have units planned for fitness, soccer, football, and basketball.

The students will complete fitness testing to start and finish the year.  It is our hope that out students will develop their bodies and minds while going to school.  The fitness testing will provide all of us with a starting point to work from.  By finishing the year with the fitness testing we hope to show everyone that with some hard work, there are almost always improvements.
