The week of March 1-5 is designated by the National Education Association as Read Across America week, and March 2 is Read Across America Day in honor of the 100th anniversary of Dr. Seuss’s birth.
That week is also a very busy time at CLCE . . .

· March 2, 3 and 4 are TAKS Benchmark test dates for 4th and 5th grade, and the 3rd graders will be    taking the TAKS Reading test for REAL! (their first shot).
· It is also the week before the CLCE School Fair, our PTA’s fundraiser, held on March 6th.
