Mark Caron After graduation went to work in the auto recovery industry and worked part time for Interarms Inc, the importers of Walther firearms to the USA. Through sponsorship from the company got to try out for the 1984 Olympic Team. At present I am vice president of a national petrochemical company the produces lubrication for the sporting goods industry. I also am a member of a national sporting clays shooting team and travel the USA and Europe to compete. Sonya Smith(Denman) Since high school I joined the army,filled my 3 years and left(stationed in a MASH unit in Panama)...had 2 great children Tom age 20 and Michelle age 18 and married another Clear Creek graduate,Jeff Denman.Jeff and I have been married for 20 years and we own a wholesale distributorship of gift and novelty items based in pearland.I am currently helping my husband run that business and I am a volunteer firefighter in what spare time I have. We have 2 beautiful granddaughters Isabel age 3 and Hannah age 7 months,both are Toms.Michelle has 1 on the way(due in december2003)email me I would love to hear from everyone. Amy (Ellison) Heartsill After high school, I went off to Texas A&M to study mechanical engineering. I spent 4 years there, strangley I ended up at Sam Houston State with a BS my 5th year =:0 I ended up working for McDonnell Douglas in Houston in the Extravehicular Activity (EVA)development testing group for space station, working out how people in space suits assemble and maintain space station. I stayed with McDonnell when they merged with Boeing, working in various EVA related capacities until May 2000. At that point, NASA decided I was obviously addicted to EVA work and hired me away from Boeing. I worked several of the first few space station based EVAs and spent many very cold weeks in Moscow. I married Judd Heartsill in 1999, we had an absolutely beautiful son Angus James in 2002. I began working on an MS degree in Space Studies about 5 years ago via the distance degree program at University of North Dakota, and will graduate in August of 2004. We currently live in Seabrook. Dale Fortenberry Jr. Took longer than I should have getting through college, but had a blast. Stayed close to home and went to UH Clear Lake. Met a girl my last semester whom I had lived 5 miles from most of my life but had never met. Married her (Kasey) in 89. Was going to join the Marine Corp out of college but my Dad asked me to join him in his new business instead. Glad he did! Melanie (future Miss Texas) was born in 92 and is my world! When she turned 1, I looked at her and said, "I'm not raising this beautiful child in Houston" so we packed up the business, the family, and all the employees and moved to Marble Falls. (Sorry, we're full). Best thing I ever did. Marble Falls today is like Friendswood was 30 years ago, only prettier. Come visit! Michael Frank Currently working for United Space Alliance. I have four kids ages 20, 16, 12, and 10. Mark Gunn After finally getting out of high school, went to San Jacinto College for an associates degree. Took a construction job in Wyoming as an Instrument Tech. at a natural gas refinery Exxon was building. Went to work for Dow Chemical (Freeport,Tex.) as an Instrument/Electrical Tech. in 89. Left Dow in May 99 to go to work for Exxon in Baytown,Tex. as a Process Analyzer Tech.. Married almost 13 yrs., We have 2 boys, Curtis 4, and Danny 6. We'll be moving to Seabrook later this year. I ran into Scott Caylor a couple of years ago. He was working for BASF and living in Angleton, but has since moved. Troy L. Hall Four years with the USMC (living in Japan 2 years). Now working for Chevron Chemical Company in Baytown, Married...now divorced, I have a 10 year old son living with me. Hobbies/businesses: islandcigars.com, and web page design. Anyone in the class of 1981...please say hello. Glen Harrison Played football at Lamar Univ. & SFA. Graduated from SFA in '86. Married Shelly Jenkins from Clear Lake. Taught and coached at Creek for 2yrs after college. Moved to Arlington, TX Have 2 great kids Chad 8 and Holly 6. Now teaching computers and Head Baseball coach at Decatur High School (just north of Ft Worth) R. Mark McDonnell Served as a missionary in Finland 1982-1984. Went to BYU for one year 1984-1985. Went into the Air Force 1987-1992. Returned to BYU 1992-1994. Married Jennifer Auger from Colorado Springs, CO. She was a fellow student at BYU. We moved to Texas, worked for NASA 1995-1996. Returned to BYU in Jan 1997, graduated in Dec 1997 from BYU (finally!), B.A. History. Worked for a few software companies until I returned to school full-time summer 2002, Utah State University. I will graduate in December 2003 with MBA. We have 4 children Austin 8, Sierra 7, Autumn 3, Celeste 1. Brian Moore I taught Chemistry and coached for a few years then joined the Coast Guard. I now do marine safety work, mostly with oil spill prevention, cleanup and oil tanker inspections. Lee Morrow Went to UC San Diego, where I studied Bio and continued to swim competatively. Transferred to UC Santa Cruz and graduated with a BA in Women's Studies(conc.in Bio). Meantime I worked as a beach lifeguard for CA State Parks for many years. From there started working as a tech in a local ER and then got my RN at a community college. Now I've been an ER RN for 10, gulp, ten years! Never would have guessed I'd end up here! Roger Reini Went to Michigan State University (BS EE '85), after which I went to work for Ford Motor Company in the electrical distribution (wiring) department. I'm still with Ford. I've done a lot of traveling over the years -- London, Paris, Finland, Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles -- but I try to get back to Texas at least once every year. Hello to all my friends from the classes of 1981, 1980, '79 and '82. Roger Reini Although I've lived most of my adult life in Michigan, Texas and League City will always be home to me. I graduated from Michigan State majoring in electrical engineering, and ever since then I've been employed by Ford Motor Company as a wiring enginer. I've traveled to the West Coast and to Europe; I've even driven old Route 66. Sheril Boggs (Spainhower) Was not fortunate enough to be able to attend college, but have been able to enjoy a pretty successful career working in the area of Graphic Design/Architecture. After living in Houston for 30 years, and being married for 15, I returned to the place of my birth (Seattle) in 1999 with my five children. I remarried in 2000 and added two more kids to the group, for a blended family of 8 kids! My five (Brandon-20, John-16, Kelsi-14, Hannah-9, Zoe-6), his one (Erin-11) and our 2 (Shelby-2, Delani-1). For those of you who have never been to visit the Great Northwest, you don't know what you're missing! It is beautiful here, so come and visit. Would love to hear from you!!
