ARE THERE ANY FUN THINGS TO DO IN JROTC OUTSIDE NORMAL CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES? Yes, there are at least three such things scheduled every year:
a.
Each year, the entire cadet corps attends a game at College Station. This is for JROTC units from all branches of service and is called Aggie For a Day.
b.
The highlight of the Corps’ social activities each year is the Military Ball including a formal dance with a live band or disc jockey at a local hotel.
c.
A one-week summer camp heldat a military installation. The cadets who voluntarily participate in this summer camp are charged a $15.00 fee.
d.
Competitions for JROTC teams. Participation in local Parades.
