Registration for 2008-2009
pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students in
the Clear Creek Independent School Districts
begins May 6. All children who will be five
years of age on or before Sept. 1, 2008 are
eligible for fall 2008 classes. Pre-kindergarten
students must be four years old by Sept. 1,
and must be either:
1. Limited English Proficient
(LEP);
2. Economically disadvantaged;
3. Homeless; or
4. Children of active duty members of the military.
Parents must provide the following
documentation as part of the Kindergarten Roundup
procedures: proof of student identity, which
can be a certified birth certificate, passport,
alien registration card or visa; a Social Security
card; and two proofs of residency to include
one of the following:
- A current deed to a residence in the name
of the adult seeking to enroll a child;
- A current mortgage payment book, all confidential
payment information may be blacked out. Only
the name and address are necessary;
- A current signed lease in the name of the
adult seeking to enroll a child, AND
- A current electric, gas or water utility
bill for the address identified as residence.
Cable bills are not accepted.
Immunization records are also
required to register a child for school, and
students must be fully immunized before attending
school. Please check the specific elementary
school your child is attending to determine
if immunizations are available at that location.

La matrícula para los
estudiantes de Prekindergarten y Kindergarten
en el 2007-2008 en el Distrito Escolar Independiente
de Clear Creek empieza el 30 de Abril. Todos
los niños que tengan cinco años
de edad en o antes del 1 de septiembre del 2007
son elegibles para las clases en el otoño
del 2007. Los estudiantes de Prekindergarten
deben de tener cuatro años de edad antes
del 1 de septiembre y además cumplir
uno de los requisitos que siguen:
1. Tener un dominio limitado
del inglés (“Limited English Proficiency”
LEP);
2. Estar en desventaja económica
3. Ser personas sin hogar
4. Ser hijos de militares en servicio activo.
Los padres deben de tener la
siguiente documentación para cumplir
los procedimientos del registro de Kindergarten:
prueba de la identidad del estudiante, que puede
ser un certificado de nacimiento oficial, pasaporte,
tarjeta de registro de extranjero o visa; tarjeta
del seguro social y 2 pruebas de residencia
dentro de la zona de Clear Creek ISD, tal como
un recibo de servicios públicos (luz,
agua, gas), un recibo de renta que establezca
nombre y dirección o el contrato de alquiler
o un acuerdo de compra.
Se requieren también
las pruebas de vacunas para matricular a un
niño en la escuela y los estudiantes
deben de estar vacunados completamente antes
de asistir a la escuela. Por favor compruebe
en la escuela primaria específica a la
que su hijo asistirá para determinar
si hay vacunación disponible en esa localización.
