OUR MISSION:
The mission of Space Center Intermediate is to provide a positive learning environment in which each student has the opportunity to develop and grow into a successful, productive citizen.
ABOUT US:
Space Center Intermediate is located 25 miles south of Houston in the Clear Lake area and is adjacent to NASA’s Johnson Space Center. Located nearby are the University of Houston – Clear Lake and Space Center Houston. Space Center Intermediate opened in the fall of 1992 and moved to its current location on Saturn Lane in August 1999. Our school now has a student population of 1250 sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students. Clubs and activities include Band, Choir, Orchestra, National Junior Society, Chess Club, Art Club, Academic Challenge Team, and Peer Mediation. Space Center Intermediate earned an exemplary rating for TAAS scores from 1994 – 1999.
