THANK YOU for volunteering to support the students
in Clear Creek ISD by becoming a district science fair judge!
I think you will find it to be a very exciting experience! To
make your experience a smooth one, below is information that you
might find helpful.
- Please be sure to register. All volunteers to CCISD are required
to register on the district’s volunteer web site. As you
register as a science fair judge, you will be directed to that
site. Please make sure to officially register using
the
ONLINE VOLUNTEER APPLICATION. A reminder will
be emailed to all registered judges prior to the start of science
fair.
- All activities begin at the Education Support Center, at 2425
East Main Street in League City. Directions from various locations
are included on the main science fair home page.
- Parking is always at a premium. Carpool if at all possible.
- Secondary judges, an optional judges training meeting will
be held at the Education Support Center at 11:00. Suggestions
and protocol with students will be discussed.
- Judging criteria and forms will be in your judges’ folder
when you check in. If you want to review this information ahead
of time it is available on this site.
- During lunch, secondary judges will discuss procedures for
the afternoon. Secondary judges, you will meet and eat with
the lead judge for your category who will assign projects and
discuss topics specific to your judging category.
- If you have additional questions, contact Terri Berry, CCISD
Science Coordinator, by e-mail at tberry@ccisd.net
