Paying for school lunches just became easier.
Clear Creek ISD will be implementing
the online and telephone based MealpayPlus system by Horizon
Software International, LLC. The first day of service begins
Jan. 13. MealpayPlus is an automated system that allows parents
to make deposits into their child’s account via the web
at www.mealpayplus.com
or by phone at (877) 237-0946.
MealpayPlus allows parents to:
- Pay by credit cards (Visa, Master Card or Discover), bank check cards with VISA or MC logo and savings/checking accounts
- View their child’s balanceView payment historyView their child’s purchase history
- Receive deposit confirmations directly to their email account
- Set payment reminders Make payments and see balances in real-time
- Replenish their child’s account automatically from their credit card
- Money deposited into MealpayPlus usually will be available within a matter of minutes. On occasion, there may be a delay of up to 48 hours.
- There is a minimum payment of $10 and a maximum payment of $150 per transaction.
For ease of use, parents should have their child’s Student ID number on hand to set up the account. There is a $2 transaction fee for each MealpayPlus transaction. Parents can pay for multiple students in one transaction. For cost effectiveness, parents should pay for several weeks in advance. As an added bonus, parents receive a $10 credit for every $100 deposit. MealpayPlus does not take the place of the previous payment method. Parents may choose to continue to deposit money into their child’s account by check or cash through the school cafeteria.
