Science Magnet Program Seeking Applicants

SCIENCE MAGNET PROGRAM SEEKING APPLICANTS
Current 5th and 6th grade students living in the CCISD attendance zone are eligible to apply for the Science Magnet Program housed at Seabrook Intermediate School. Applications are available online and at the student's elementary school through the counselor.
Students are also required to handwrite responses to three short answer/essay questions. These questions are not in the application packet. These questions will be distributed to and answered by the students applying to the program at the student's home elementary with the counselor on Wednesday, February 11. If an application is printed from online, please inform the counselor at your child's elementary school that your student is applying to the Science Magnet program.
ALL applications are due to the counselor at your child's home elementary school by Tuesday, February 10, 2009. NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Informational meetings regarding the Science Magnet Program will be held on the following dates:
Thursday, December 11, at 7:00pm in the Seabrook Intermediate cafeteria
Monday, December 15, at 7:00pm in the Seabrook Intermediate cafeteria
Tuesday, January 20, at 7:00pm in the Seabrook Intermediate cafeteria
