Students at Stewart Lead the Way

The Leadership Team at League City Elementary collected over 114,000 pull tabs as a part of the "Pull for Ronald McDonald House" program. Students brought in pop tabs for the month of April. The Leadership Team advertised with flyers, posters and announcements to help maximize the total collections. Our total represents almost 2 miles of tabs. The Pull Tab Program recycling profits are used to support everyday operations at the Ronald McDonald House of Houston located near the Texas Medical Center.This includes purchasing food for the family food pantry, purchasing cleaning supplies and providing van transportation to and from hospitals in the complex.
