NEW PRINCIPAL SELECTED FOR STEWART ELEMENTARY
05/13/2008
League City – During the May 12, 2008 workshop session the Board of Trustees for the Clear Creek Independent School District approved a new principal for Stewart Elementary School in Kemah.
Britani Moses replaces Debbie Phillips as principal of this National Blue Ribbon School.
Recently selected to be the new Executive Director of Elementary Education, Phillips is confident Stewart Elementary is firmly on the road to more success. “I could not think of a more qualified leader to take Stewart to the next level. Britani Moses was a teacher at Stewart in the past and understands the dynamics of this campus. Her experience as the district Language Arts Coordinator will enable her to continue to propel our literacy program.”
Phillips credits the literacy program with propelling the school from acceptable to exemplary status. A program the new principal is very familiar with. “The staff is very excited about this decision and they feel she is the perfect match for Stewart,” said Phillips.
