Clear Creek Education Foundation Proudly Announces Second Annual Fashion Show
Featuring Students of Clear Creek Independent School District
The Clear Creek Education Foundation is seeking high school juniors, male and female, that represent all that is positive about CCISD to participate as models during the Galaxy of Stars “Runway Extravaganza at the Hilton” fashion show on Friday, April 25, 2008 at the Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake. Reception starts at 6:00 p.m. and show starts at 7:00 p.m. followed by dinner, live auction, casino and silent auction. The show is being produced by Lenny Matuszewski, Jr., nationally known fashion show producer and will feature fashions from Dillard’s Baybrook.
Models will be chosen by a selection committee comprised of business and community leaders. Those selected will be notified the week of January 21, 2008.
Applications for participant will be available starting January 7, 2008 from the following high schools and their representative: Clear Brook High School (Joy Mossburger, Business Community Office), Clear Creek High School (Vicki Barker, Health Science Community Office), Clear Lake High School (Melanie Lovuola, Engineering Community Office) and Clear View High School (Joy McClain, Main Office).
Applications will also be available online starting January 7, 2008 on the Clear Creek Education Foundation website (www.clearcreekeducationfoundation.org) and the CCISD website (www.ccisd.net).
The applications are to be returned no later than Wednesday, January 16, 2008 by 2:30 p.m. to each high school representative.

The Clear Creek Education Foundation, established in 1992, is comprised of business and community leaders; all of whom volunteer to raise funds to support the academic achievement of all students. The Foundation raises funds for the following distinct initiatives - award financial grants to teachers so they can implement their own innovative educational programs in the classroom; supply career synergistic labs for intermediate schools to assist students in exploring the endless possibilities before them in a hands-on, interactive environment; and reimburse teachers who achieve National Board Certification, a rigorous and acclaimed certification.
