Judges Needed for 46th Annual CCISD Science Fair
League City, TEXAS – Clear Creek ISD is seeking community members who are interested in science to be judges for the 46th annual Clear Creek ISD Science Fair. The fair is from 12 - 5 p.m., Feb. 19.
Prior to the district-level event, science fairs take place at each school in Clear Creek ISD, with more than 8,000 students participating. The district science fair brings together the best of the projects from each of the school fairs. Clear Creek ISD’s science fair is one of the most extensive in the state, and students consistently take top honors at the regional, state, and international science fairs.
With more than 800 projects qualifying for the district fair, there is a need for approximately 200 judges. Elementary categories include life sciences, physical sciences, consumer sciences, earth/space sciences and mathematics. Secondary categories include Behavioral /Social Science, Biochemistry/Microbiology, Botany, Chemistry, Computers, Consumer Science, Earth/Space Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Medicine and Health, Physics and Zoology.
